Are you still hyped for the Switch 2?

Now that the dust has settled and the handheld-home console hybrid's release is drawing closer, are you still excited for Nintendo's Switch 2? While I was extremely hyped before going hands-on with the console, my anticipation has admittedly waned over the past few weeks for several reasons. First off, the launch lineup feels pretty weak. Mario Kart World seems excellent, but beyond the classic karting action, the only other game I'll likely be playing is the optimized version of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (4K/60fps here I come!). I have no interest in playing a muddy, low FPS version of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster, Hogwarts Legacy (which also looked very muddy when I checked it out at Nintendo's preview event), or the handful of other games coming to the Switch 2 at launch. Sure, Donkey Kong Bananza is coming soon, but it won't arrive until mid-July, and I wasn't entirely sold on the game after briefly playing it. Oh, an

What could the iPhone 17 Pro rumors be pointing towards?

With rumors about the iPhone 17 Pro hitting the social media feeds yesterday, I'm all sorts of confused about the direction(s) Apple is going in. We've got the alleged iPhone 17 Air hitting shelves (or rather floating above them if thickness speculations are to be believed) and now the supposedly super-thicc Pro model to go with it. It's feeling a bit like Goldilocks to me right now, even though trends have been logically moving towards thinner-and-thinner models for years now. I'm hoping that this means Apple has something new and exciting enough to warrant such a siesmic shift away from the thin, light, and 'it-just-works' trend... especially since it was the one that set it all those years ago.

How often do you play video games on the go?

I recently spent 40+ hours with the Lenovo Legion Go S and while I mostly liked the device, one of the issues I had with it right off the bat was how poorly the battery performed when I was on the go. I enjoy taking my video games with me, and have previously brought my Switch to theme parks, malls, beaches, pools, parties and more, and have enjoyed being able to play games anywhere with one charge almost always lasting me a day or more out of the house. However, when I talk to other people who have handheld consoles, especially PCs, I find that many prefer to use them in their homes specifically, and simply enjoy the freedom of being able to play on the couch or in bed. Which brings me to my question: Do you bring your portable game consoles out of the house to play? Or do you prefer to play them at home?
