Listing your beats on SoundClick is a straightforward process:
  1. Log In & Navigate
    • Click the blue "menu" button on the top-left of any page
    • Log in - Or if you're already logged in go to your "Artist dashboard"
    • "Artist dashboard" > "Music" > "+ Add song"
    • Choose "Upload for Licensing"
  2. Select Your File
    • Upload your file as lossless WAV or AIFF file.
    • Recommended: Upload 2 versions of your track, one tagged for streaming, and a second untagged for licensing.
    • For higher-priced licensing, add a trackout / stem file as well.
    • Upload your file(s) to our cloud.
  3. Enter Track Details
    • Title: Use clear, consistent naming so fans can find you.
    • Genre & Tags: Tags on SoundClick are short keywords (e.g., "beats" "Taylor Swift") that drive our site-wide search engine - so they're critical for fans to discover your profile and tracks.
    • Artwork, Description & Lyrics: Add any background info, lyrics, or credits.
  4. Set Privacy & Pricing
    • Free or Paid Download: Toggle whether listeners can download for free or must purchase. Set your prices.
    • CONNECT: Get viral promotion and can funnel serious users into paid license sales.
    • Licensing Options: Toggle whether to offer paid licenses, or free Creative Commons licenses.
    • Release Date: Optionally schedule your track to go live at a future date.
    • Emails: Toggle whether you collect emails of users that download the track.
  5. Review & Publish
    • Double-check all entries, especially pricing and licensing details.
    • Click "Save" to make your track live immediately.
  6. Share & Promote
    • Once uploaded, grab your embed code or direct link to share on social media, your website, or email newsletters.
    • Encourage fans to comment, follow, and tip to boost engagement and visibility.

  • Your artist name or user name on SoundClick.
  • Ideally, add your SoundClick profile website address (URL).
  • Your previous login email.

We use Google reCaptcha as additional layer to make our sign-up more secure.
If Google erroneously considers you a bot, simply email us at support@soundclick.com. We can then whitelist your email for signup, so you can skip that check.
